Reports are coming in from users that Digitally Imported have announced the closure of their free service which makes their music available to listeners for no cost at a lower bit rate than paying customers. Their free service is therefore no longer available for free unless you use their smart phone app, meaning support has now been dropped for VLC, Winamp, SONOS, Music Bee and all other third party streaming music clients. According to reports the company may not have been in been the best of places financially for sometime but shuttering it’s free service with no public warning hasn’t gone down all too well with some of it’s users. However their premium service remains available at $9 a month, offering access to a set number of genre themed channels and boasts the following benefits.
